After graduating dental school, Dr. Christensen and his wife, Julie, relocated to the Wichita, KS area with their son, Ryan. Dr. Christensen purchased the former practice of Dr. John Scarmeas and his predecessor Dr. Herbert Kline.
Dr. Christensen’s unwavering passion for dentistry ensures he provides his patients with the highest quality care available. Dr. Christensen consistently exceeds continuing dental education requirements to better serve you and stay abreast the latest science and technology advancements.
He completed dental implant surgery training, including advanced implant site development and bone grafting, with Dr. Robert London, clinical professor at the University of Washington – School of Dentistry. Dr. Christensen is relentless in the pursuit of cutting edge cosmetic dentistry, with certification in Invisalign orthodontics and extensive knowledge and experience in veneers, porcelain crowns, and whitening. Possibilities are virtually endless.
In the Dental Community
Dr. Christensen is a dynamic member of the Wichita District Dental Society, serving as President elect in 2010, and as President 2011-2012. In addition, Dr. Christensen regularly attends CREATE Study Club meetings, a branch of the highly prestigious Seattle Study Club, with a select group of dental specialists and general dentists. Dr. Christensen has had the honor to be voted as one of Wichita’s Top Dentists as voted by his peers, a renowned and esteemed achievement. He is also a member of the Kansas Dental Association (KDA) and the American Dental Association (ADA).
Dr. Christensen also takes time to give back to the community at large. The Kansas Mission of Mercy, a mobile dental event that provides free care to under-served populations throughout Kansas, is a project that has always been important to Dr. Christensen.
Outside of the Office
Family has always been a central focus for Dr. Christensen. He and his wife, Julie, enjoy time with their son Ryan, and their three dogs.
In his free time, Dr. Christensen also enjoys a variety of activities including: scuba diving, traveling, hunting, fishing, and photography.
